Celebrating | Father’s Day

I must get off the computer and start preparing for our weekend away. We are going to enjoy our yearly ritual of heading to the beach, BBQ, the girls painting my husband’s car with hand prints and hearts (it’s water soluble paint for those that just about had a heart attack). A weekend of celebrating dad.

But before I head off, I just had to put together a fill-in-the-blank Fathe’rs Day card for your kidlets to give their dad on Sunday. Let them fill-in-the-blanks and tell dad how much they love him, and think he’s super awesome.

So if you’re still looking for the perfect card for dad (er, your husband), head over to Scrib’d to download my new We Love Dad cards for Father’s Day.

Wishing all the dad’s a fabulous Father’s Day!

Father’s Day is just days away, are you ready? I have one little errand to do with my daughter’s, but other than that, we are ready!  My husband is not so much into sports or super heroes, but he loves to get his hands dirty! And since I picked up the potter’s wheel last year, this year is all about gardening!

I have a little something special ready for my husband, like these garden markers. Made with my daughters so the husband can label his seedlings in the garden.

I saw this mini indoor greenhouse at Home Sense and knew he would love it for starting his seedlings indoors.

The girls can’t wait to give their dad his bounty; the husband can’t wait for the girls to paint his car (yearly tradition) and for his Father’s Day dinner (I’m cooking up a storm for him!). Me, I’m just happy to celebrate my husband and his talents.

And because I love men who help things grow, whether its food or people, I’ve designed a set of free cards for Father’s Day, so you can show the dads you love how much they rock, or how much you dig them.

The set of four Father’s Day Note Cards can be downloaded over at Scribd.

You can also find them through the Freebies page (love that Freebies page!). Now go get ready for Father’s Day, only a few days left!
